And if money is tight
on the day you wear white,
that night
we'll go to the sea;

While the soft stars rise,
lost in each others eyes,
all night
we'll hear only the sea;

If the night we are wed
must have sand for a bed,
that night
we will out-roll the sea;

And let the morning sun
find we two are now one,
all night
we made love by the sea.
